Thank you for sending us a copy of your letter. While Professor Powell and I serve as faculty representatives to the Board of Regents, we are not Regents. However, I understand that your letter is being distributed to members of the Board.
As Chair of the Academic Senate, I will be happy to work with the President and the Regents in writing a response to your letter that describes the extensive role of the Academic Senate in developing both the Standing Order (SOR 100.4), the furlough/salary reduction options, and the final furlough recommendation.

Opulently I assent to but I think the collection should secure more info then it has.
